You may have noticed while shopping around that most other Drop-In Guest Book products on the market have a drop-in slot at the top. At first glance, this may seem desirable, however we’ve decided not to include one. Why, you might ask? well…
Unlike most others, our guest book is a memento to be enjoyed for years to come. We add hanging hardware to the back of each one so that you may hang it in your home. Because the guest book top can be replaced, it leaves no way in for dust, bugs and cobwebs to accumulate (cobwebs are not as easy to clean out of a shadow box as one might think). So instead of trying to vacuum the dust out of a frame, you can spend your time reminiscing on the heartfelt tidbits left by your loved ones on your special day.
Finding an alternative to a drop-in slot is just one example of how we’re raising the bar. We’ve sourced acid-free matboard materials, preventing future yellowing or fading. We even offer acid-free pigment based signing pens to further this goal. We send every guest book out with a premium framing grade acrylic 17 times more impact resistant than traditional glass. All of these things and more come together to make a very high quality and sturdy shadowbox for you to enjoy for years to come.

For instance, if you select the 20"x30" size, the color matboard hearts option is disabled, as we only offer wood hearts at this size. For this reason, it is important to work from the top down when selecting your options. Please double check all of your options before purchase, and each time you go back to change something!
When ordering on any of our 3rd party marketplaces, you will still have the option of using the design tool to choose your guest book options. After purchasing on one of these marketplaces, you will receive a link to our design tool. You can "check out" from the Design Tool free of charge in order to send us your currently selected design.
If you are unable to check out for any reason, you may wish to send us a screenshot of your current design for reference. Here’s how:
*Note: You may have to turn on/off your ‘F-lock’ where applicable, as it may interfere with the functionality of the PrtScn key.
]]>Weddings are full of decisions. They can be overwhelming at times. That is why we are doing everything we can to make it as easy as possible for you. We have made this guide to help you order a unique guest book as smoothly as possible. To begin, you must consider the colors you may want, and how many guests may be attending. Since each guest book only holds so many drop-in pieces, take a look at this chart to get an idea of what sizes accommodate the expected number of guests.
After you have an idea of what size you will need, you can start thinking about colors. Use our Visualization Tool to see the various color and frame combinations before you buy. Furthermore, you can order Mat Samples if more precise color-matching is necessary. If you are looking for inspiration, we have lots of examples posted at our Pinterest and Facebook pages for you to review.
Head over to our Product Visualizer page. Here, you can see different variations of colors and frame styles. Expand or collapse each heading by clicking or tapping on it. It is best to work from the top down. Below is a quick checklist to go over as you order.
Once you are done visualizing the product, make sure and double check your spelling for the Inscription lines. Click Add to Cart at the bottom of the page, and you are ready to start checking out. You can receive shipping quotes and expected delivery times from this cart page. Consider adding an Archival Signing Pen to your order before checking out (You can always return to your shopping cart later using the menu at the top of the site.)
]]>A newlywed couple would use a guest book to collect the names, phone numbers, and addresses of everybody present at their wedding. Occasionally guests would leave little heart-warming tidbits in the margins. Couples would largely use this information to send thank-you cards and populate a family address book. Unfortunately, the guest book itself would often find itself stashed in a box in the attic or garage.
With technology as advanced as it is, most of us already have access to all our friends’ and families’ phone numbers and addresses. We no longer have a need for a traditional guest book to collect this information for us. But what about those little heart-warming tidbits from the margins? Today, couples are opting for a number of guest book alternatives to help them cherish the memories of their wedding in new and unique ways.
One such alternative is a shadowbox that can hang on the wall like a picture. The middle of the shadowbox is a heart with the names and date of matrimony inscribed at its’ center. Guests sign their name on smaller hearts, as well as a sentence or two of well wishes. Then, guests drop their heart into the top of the shadowbox and let it fall in and surround the center heart. The result is a unique collage of heart-felt feelings and caring love surrounding your special day.
